1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Secudox ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Secudox is a lost and found recovery platform that connects individuals who have lost items with those who have found them. Users may report lost or found items, submit claims, communicate through the platform, and facilitate the return of property.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) submit false or misleading reports; (b) attempt to claim items that are not yours; (c) harass or impersonate other users; (d) use the Platform for any illegal purpose; (e) interfere with the Platform's operation; (f) collect user data without consent.
5. Item Reports and Claims
Item reports must be accurate and truthful. Claiming an item requires providing proof of ownership. Secudox facilitates communication but does not guarantee the return of any item. Users assume all risk in transactions. Secudox may moderate, verify, or remove reports at its discretion.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information.
7. Limitation of Liability
Secudox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including lost items, data breaches, or disputes between users. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the Platform.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notice.
10. Contact
For questions about these terms, contact us at support@secudox.com.
11. Child Safety and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Standards
Secudox has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The Platform prohibits any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including but not limited to grooming, sextortion, child trafficking, and any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
11.1 Published Standards
These terms constitute our published standards against CSAE, consistent with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy. They apply to all users, content, and interactions on the Platform. We are committed to complying with all applicable child safety laws, including those of the Republic of Kenya and international frameworks.
11.2 In-App Reporting
All users can report suspected CSAE content or behavior directly through our in-app reporting mechanism, accessible via the "Report" button on every listing, profile, and sighting. Reports can also be submitted via email to csae@secudox.com.
11.3 Action on Reports
Upon receiving a CSAE report, Secudox will promptly investigate, remove any offending content, suspend offending accounts, and report the matter to relevant law enforcement authorities, including the National Police Service (Kenya) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
11.4 Point of Contact
Our designated Child Safety Point of Contact is available at csae@secudox.com for any inquiries regarding child safety, CSAE prevention, or compliance with this policy.
